Disclaimer: This is a two-part spec ad campaign I created for a fictitious company of my own invention.
One of our agency’s clients, Ball State Bourbon, requested a one-page magazine ad with a hip, modern, and conversational tone (executed in good taste, of course). Working with a designer, we conceptualized these two ads. The copy makes a play on the company’s logo (“BS”, for Ball State). The result is a humorous campaign that underscores Ball State’s Unique Selling Proposition: quality whiskey at an affordable price point.
Think affordable high-quality whiskey is BS? You’re right
It takes six months to reach Mars. Better bring a good bottle.
